Notes

'Brido' oakleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea quercifolia 'Brido') is a shrub for specimen planting, shade gardens, woodland settings, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows slowly to 5 to 8 feet tall and up to 10 feet wide. Fragrant double white blooms attract butterflies, bees, and birds, and the leaves turn color in fall.

Pairs well with Witch hazel, Christmas fern, Switchgrass, and American holly.
