Notes

'Broadholme Beauty' apple (Malus domestica 'Broadholme Beauty') is a tree for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Mr Henry Lovely bred it in the 1980s from a James Grieve seedling. This apple is grown for cooking, and the fruit keeps for 3 months or more. Bees visit the spring blossoms, and you will need a second apple tree nearby for pollination.

Pairs well with Festiva Maxima peony, Switchgrass, and Thimbleberry.
