Notes

'Bronze-Leaved' sedge (Carex comans 'Bronze-Leaved') is a grass for borders, containers, rock gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It forms a clumping, evergreen mound about 12 inches tall. It is drought tolerant and attracts butterflies and bees.

Pairs well with Stonecrop, Hardy geranium, and Lucifer montbretia.
