Notes

'Bu-Te' peony (Paeonia 'Bu-Te') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Large white flowers have a yellow center and a sweet scent that bees and butterflies visit. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Charles F. Wassenberg bred it.

Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Black Hero tulip, and Sedge.
