Notes

'Bumeikai' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Bumeikai') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are single, which gives the plant an open and simple look. A Japanese breeder developed this cultivar.

Pairs well with May Night salvia, Blue fescue, and Cinnamon fern.
