Notes

'Burst of Joy' rose (Rosa 'Burst of Joy') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows into a bushy, medium sized shrub with glossy green leaves and orange flowers with a delicate tea fragrance. The long, strong canes make good cut flowers, and bees visit the blooms. Tom Carruth bred it, and Spring Hill Nurseries introduced it in 2019.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Baby's breath, Niobe clematis, and Lily.
