Notes

'Caliente' crane's-bill (Geranium 'Caliente') is a perennial for borders, containers, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Butterflies visit the flowers, and the plant tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Duchesse de Nemours peony, and Black Parrot tulip.
