Notes

'Calliope Large' crane's-bill (Geranium 'Calliope Large') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies visit the flowers, and the plant tolerates drought. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Duchesse de Nemours peony, and Black Parrot tulip.
