Notes

'Cameo' apple (Malus domestica 'Cameo') is a tree for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Cameo is grown for fresh eating, and the flavor is mild with a hint of pear. It started as a chance seedling found in a Red Delicious orchard. It is not self-fertile, so plant a second apple nearby for pollination.

Pairs well with Pink Lemonade blueberry, White mulberry, and Wormwood.
