Notes

'Cameron' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Cameron') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pink buds open to white flowers with yellow stamens. The flat blooms measure 6 to 7 inches across and sit upright on short stems. Galen Burrell bred it, and the green leaves turn red in fall.

Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Cat mint, Greig's tulip, and Prairie dropseed.
