Notes

'Carnation Bouquet' peony (Paeonia 'Carnation Bouquet') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The pink double flowers look like carnations and have a clove scent that needs warm, humid air to release. Seidl bred it in 1996.

Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Phantom panicle hydrangea, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
