Notes

'Cassiopeia' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Cassiopeia') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pink anemone-form flowers are about 5 inches wide and open in early to late spring. The inner petals are edged creamy yellow and fade to lighter pink as the blooms age. The upright plants reach about 26 inches tall.

Pairs well with Gooseneck loosestrife, Maiden pink, Spanish bluebell, and Sensitive fern.
