Notes
'Celebration' blanket flower (Gaillardia grandiflora 'Celebration') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer and again in autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Drought and salt do not bother it.
Pairs well with Hidcote lavender, Sapphire alpine oatgrass, Stonecrop, and Red-hot poker.
