Notes

'Center Stage' peony (Paeonia 'Center Stage') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The fragrant white flowers have purple flares and attract butterflies in spring and early summer. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The finely cut leaves stay dark green until frost, and the plant resists botrytis.

Pairs well with Curly Fries hosta, Jeana garden phlox, and Paperbark maple.
