Notes
'Chansonette' camellia (Camellia hiemalis 'Chansonette') is an evergreen shrub for borders, containers, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late autumn and again in early to late winter. It stays low at 24 to 36 inches tall but spreads wide, so give it plenty of room.
Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, White bigleaf hydrangea, and Snake's head.
