Notes

'Charlotte Rattenbury' peony (Paeonia 'Charlotte Rattenbury') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Prof. Harald Fawkner bred it, and the fragrant semi-double pink blooms attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Clustered bellflower, Annabelle hydrangea, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
