Notes

'Charming Choice' peony (Paeonia 'Charming Choice') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The flowers have light red tinges over yellow with a dark red center, open in early to late spring, and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Green Spice coral bells, Greig's tulip, and Damask rose.
