Notes

'Chin Hi' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Chin Hi') is a tall perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its deep red blooms are average in size and work well as cut flowers. William Henry Krekler bred it in 1977.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Sedge, and Tiger lily.
