Notes

Chinese cobra lily (Arisaema candidissimum) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its light pink spathe is striped with white, and the foliage unfurls late, often not until May. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. In pots, use a moist but free-draining mix.

Pairs well with Autumn fern, Incrediball hydrangea, and Greig's tulip.
