Notes

Japanese cobra lily (Arisaema sikokianum) is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland settings, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy or loamy soil. The burgundy spathe has a pure white interior and a white knobbed spadix. It sits low on the menu for deer. Pull back on watering when it goes dormant.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Toad lily, and Aureola Japanese forest grass.
