Notes
'City Lights' iris (Iris germanica 'City Lights') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The fragrant flowers have deep violet petals with white patches and a pale yellow signal. It is a rebloomer, so you can enjoy blooms again later in the season.
Pairs well with Maiden pink, Angel Cheeks peony, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
