Notes
'Forever Blue' iris (Iris germanica 'Forever Blue') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and cut flower use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. This dwarf iris has bright blue and pale blue blooms with deep lavender beards and an orange signal patch. The flowers are fragrant. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Maiden pink, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Carlton daffodil, and Raspberry Sundae peony.
