Notes

'Concertina' iris (Iris germanica 'Concertina') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. The large 6-inch blossoms are pale pink with a bold purple center. They are fragrant and bloom in late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Black Beauty peony, Maiden pink, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
