Notes

'Clemenceau' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Clemenceau') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Auguste Dessert bred it. The fragrant, rose-pink double blooms open in late spring to early summer and have a slight tea-rose scent. Dark green foliage fills out the plant.

Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Spanish bluebell, and Ostrich fern.
