Notes
'Cloud Cap' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Cloud Cap') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Medium-sized white flowers open in early summer and have a sweet fragrance. Myron D. Bigger bred it in 1979. The fine light green foliage grows on stems 24 to 30 inches tall.
Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Spanish bluebell, and Ostrich fern.
