Notes

'Cobbler' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Cobbler') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roy G. Klehm bred it. The soft pink and cream blooms are fragrant and open in mid to late spring. The stems are strong, so the flowers hold up well when cut.

Pairs well with Japanese spirea, Grape hyacinth, and Ostrich fern.
