Notes

'Coconut Ice' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Coconut Ice') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, peach pink flowers open in early summer. Each stem holds one ball-shaped double bloom, and the stems are strong. John W. and Dot M. McFarlane bred it.

Pairs well with Jackmanii clematis, Christmas fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
