Notes

Coericea pallida tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Coericea pallida (or Cericea)') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The source lists two older dates, but I cannot use them. Give it a spot where the woody stems can stay in place year after year.

Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Mock orange, and Queen of Night tulip.
