Notes

'Cold Hardy White' lily-of-the-nile (Agapanthus 'Cold Hardy White') is a bulb for borders, containers, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows 12 to 15 inches tall and wide, with white blooms in late spring and again in summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Halcyon hosta, Japanese forest grass, Green Velvet buxus, and Greig's tulip.
