Notes

'Colombine' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Colombine') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears double white cup-shaped flowers with yellowish centers in mid to late spring. The stems are medium-sized, and the blooms open at midseason.

Pairs well with Ostrich fern, Picture tulip, and New Jersey tea.
