Notes

'Comtesse de Tuder' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Comtesse de Tuder') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Light pink flowers with white undertones open in early summer and are fragrant. Charles Gombault bred it. The plant stays under about 35 inches tall.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Christmas fern, and Grape hyacinth.
