Notes
'Congrabel' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia indica 'Congrabel') is a shrub for pollinator gardens, specimen planting, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and forms a dense shape. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms from early to late summer. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Switchgrass, Delphinium, and Red spider lily.
