Notes
'Copper Rose' peony (Paeonia 'Copper Rose') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The loose, semi-double flowers are rose-pink and cream with dark flares. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.
Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Blue fescue, Pink Impression tulip, and Blue-eyed grass.
