Notes
'Coral Wonder' peony (Paeonia 'Coral Wonder') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fully double, bomb-shaped flowers open coral pink and age to soft shades of pink and peach on strong, straight stems. Bockstoce bred it, and Landis introduced it in 1974. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.
Pairs well with Fringed bleeding heart, Anise hyssop, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Carlton daffodil.
