Notes
'Corede' taro (Colocasia esculta 'Corede') is a perennial for specimen plantings, accents, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. It grows in a clump at a moderate pace and keeps its leaves year round in mild climates. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Calla lily, Mexican petunia, and Lemongrass.
