Notes
'Cosmic Yellow' cosmos (Cosmos sulphureus 'Cosmic Yellow') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and containers. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows fast into a clumping mound and tolerates drought. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Gypsy Charmer sunflower, and Cerise Queen yarrow.
