Notes

'Cosmic Red' cosmos (Cosmos sulphureus 'Cosmic Red') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows fast into a clump 12 to 24 inches tall. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Giant Sungold sunflower, and Cerise Queen yarrow.
