Notes
'Crazy in Love' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Crazy in Love') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers are soft pink with fuchsia-pink at the base, and they fade toward the petal tips. Each stem carries three fragrant blooms that measure 4½ inches across. The upright plant grows to 26 inches and holds itself up without staking.
Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Miss Kim lilac, Indian grass, and Blazing star.
