Notes

'Creative Edge' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Creative Edge') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deep yellow, semi-double blooms with rose-pink edges open in late spring and smell fragrant. John W. and Dot M. McFarlane bred it, and the stems are strong enough to hold the flowers.

Pairs well with Black Parrot tulip, Christmas fern, and Grape hyacinth.
