Notes

'Crown of Gold' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Crown of Gold') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, fragrant, double flowers open in late spring. Snowy white petals reflect golden stamens, and the center petals are flecked and edged carmine. Strong stems hold the blooms upright.

Pairs well with Maltese cross, Charles Joly lilac, Garlic chives, and Ice plant.
