Notes

'Crystal Palace' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Crystal Palace') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It bears fragrant violet-blue flowers in early to late spring that attract bees. J.N.M. van Eeden bred it.

Pairs well with Pink Impression tulip, Halcyon hosta, and Karl Rosenfield peony.
