Notes

'Cupid' bleeding heart (Lamprocapnos spectabilis 'Cupid') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry soil. Pink and white hearts hang from arching stems in early to late spring. The plant may go dormant in summer if soils are dry. Matthew Pryce found it as a sport of a normal bleeding heart.

Pairs well with Black hellebore, New York fern, and Yellow root.
