Notes

'White Gold' bleeding heart (Lamprocapnos spectabilis 'White Gold') is a perennial for borders and low maintenance shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Lacy gold to electric green leaves emerge in early spring. Pure white heart shaped flowers arch over the foliage.

Pairs well with Variegatum Solomon's seal, Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, and Drumstick primrose.
