Notes

'Alba' lamprocapnos (Lamprocapnos spectabilis 'Alba') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, shade gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. White flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Mini Skirt hosta, Blue wood aster, and Paul Scherer tulip.
