Notes

'Dalitron' apple (Malus domestica 'Dalitron') is a tree for the food garden, grown for fresh eating. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast, and bees visit the spring blooms. G. Ligonniere bred it in 1997. Plant a second apple nearby, since it is not self-fertile.

Pairs well with Honeyberry, Chokeberry, and Burnet.
