Notes

'Dana Garnock' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Dana Garnock') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. W. A. Dana bred it in 1920. The fragrant white flowers open in early summer and are loose, double, and good sized. Strong upright stems hold them well.

Pairs well with Francee hosta, Miss Kim lilac, and Ostrich fern.
