Notes

'Dancing Flames' sneezeweed (Helenium 'Dancing Flames') is a perennial for pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Red-orange to golden yellow flowers open from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Culver’s root, Little bluestem, and Royal fern.
