Notes

'Königstiger' sneezeweed (Helenium 'Königstiger') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. It flowers from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn.

Pairs well with Spotted joe-pye weed, Little bluestem, and Culver’s root.
