Notes

'Dark Dynasty' butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii 'Dark Dynasty') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its arching, fragrant blooms open from early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows fast and tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Stonecrop, and Orange daylily.
