Notes
'Dark Persuasion' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Dark Persuasion') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single to semi-double blooms are rose pink with maroon flares. Each stem carries one bud and holds the flower well above the mid green foliage.
Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Columbine, Greig's tulip, and Sedge.
